Silhouette Fine Lingerie is a specialty bra and lingerie store serving South Surrey, White Rock and Greater Vancouver, with a focus on professional bra fitting, personal service and helping every woman find a comfortable, beautiful fit.

Located in the High Street retail area of South Surrey, Silhouette is a family-owned business led by Fiona Mulligan, who has more than 20 years of experience helping women find bras that work with their individual shape, size and lifestyle.

 

 

 

The Difference a Professional Bra Fitting Can Make

Finding the right bra involves much more than knowing your measurements. Different brands and styles can fit very differently, even when the size printed on the label is the same.

Fiona and our experienced fitting team have developed an extensive knowledge of the fitting characteristics and nuances of the bras we carry. We combine proper measurements with an understanding of your individual shape and how different bra styles fit to help find the right combination of size, shape, support and comfort for you.

We carry an extensive selection of bras and fine lingerie from leading European and international brands, including Chantelle, PrimaDonna, Wacoal, Lise Charmel, Fantasie, Anita, Elomi, Felina, Royce and many more.

A Bit About Our History

Our family's story with Silhouette began rather unexpectedly in 2004.

Roger was looking through the local real estate listings when he noticed a retail business for sale. The advertisement didn't say what kind of store it was and didn't even include a photograph. On a whim, he called the realtor to find out more.

The business turned out to be Silhouette Fine Lingerie, a local store we had never heard of before.

At the time, Fiona was tired of commuting for her existing job, enjoyed working with people and was particularly drawn to the opportunity to help women in our community following breast cancer surgery. After considerable due diligence — and some soul-searching — we decided to take a leap of faith.

Neither of us had worked in retail before. After only a week of training from the previous owner, we found ourselves very much in the deep end! Fortunately, we inherited a wonderful and knowledgeable staff who helped us learn quickly.

More than 20 years later, we've experienced plenty of the ups and downs of retail, but what we value most hasn't changed: helping people.

Some of our most meaningful moments have been helping women following breast surgery who arrive feeling uncertain about their changed bodies and leave feeling comfortable, balanced and more like themselves again. That experience ultimately became an important part of what Silhouette is today and led to the continued development of Silhouette Mastectomy, our specialty breast-care business.

Our High Street Store

In 2012, when the opportunity arose to move Silhouette to High Street near South Point Shopping Centre, we saw the chance to create a store specifically designed around the fitting experience.

We designed and built our current location with spacious fitting rooms, an extensive selection of bras and lingerie, and a comfortable environment where our clients can receive the time and personal attention that a proper fitting deserves.

We're proud to have served South Surrey, White Rock and the surrounding communities from this location ever since — and we look forward to helping you find your perfect fit.
